CSAG - Break for the Elrics

this is actually kinda old... i only just realized that i hadn't uploaded it here. anyways, it's yet another CSAG related thing (i've got oodles of these, apparently), but this one is... well, i kinda cheated on this, i admit it. for Al and Ed's positioning, i sort of copied an existing promotional art for Fullmetal Alchemist.
i know, i'm a horrible horrible artist for copying, but i totally SUCK at drawing Al and i'm in desperate need of practice in that field. so yeah, this art kinda fails epically in that regard, and i know that already, so please don't hurt me.

BUT!! there are epic differences! like the fact that Ed is awake and has a book (hehehe, it's actually Hogwarts: A History, because yes, Ed is just as book crazy as Hermione) in his hands and Al is petting a cat. Crookshanks, to be more specific. and Ed's dressed in Slytherin robes, and they're in a courtyard at Hogwarts as opposed to being in Risembool. and Winry isn't hovering over them. so yes.

i'm proud of this background, though. it took me a long time to find a good reference for those window/door/pillar things. managed to get something from screencaps of HP: Goblet of Fire, so yeah. there it is.

what Ed and Al do in their spare time at Hogwarts. ^_^
